Jereshia entered college with the goal of being an engineer. However, by her senior year, money was tight and she realized she would need some additional income to pay for her tuition.
Instead of taking on another job, Jereshia decided to start an e-commerce business. This turned out to be an excellent decision, as she went on to earn $50,000 that year selling products online. Not only was she able to pay for her tuition, but she also had enough left over to buy a new car and take a trip to Thailand.
But running an e-commerce business was never part of Jereshia’s long-term plan. Once she graduated and secured her first engineering job, she shut down her business. She loved her career and thought her entrepreneurial journey was over.
Encountering barriers
As a civil engineer working in the energy sector, Jereshia quickly found success. She was regularly tapped for additional opportunities and eventually found herself in the leadership program.
But over time, her salary growth stalled. It wasn’t her job performance that was holding her back, but rather the way she looked. She simply didn’t fit the mold of a typical engineer.

Starting her own business
Never one to be satisfied with the status quo, Jereshia started exploring other ways to grow her career and income.
Thinking back to her e-commerce business, she realized that she had knowledge and a set of skills that others wanted to learn. So, in her free time, she began posting videos where she answered people’s questions about entrepreneurship and building a business.
This progressed to selling PDF downloads, memberships, and digital courses, and after just nine months Jereshia had made $6,000.

Becoming a full-time entrepreneur
Inspired by her early successes, Jereshia started thinking of ways she could produce an even greater return on investment for her clients. She knew if she could make more money for her clients she could eventually turn her side hustle into a full-time business.
Jereshia switched to working with clients one-on-one at a much higher price point, and this move paid off. Despite increasing her prices she had no trouble securing clients and it wasn’t long before she had her first $10,000 month.
Looking to expand her reach, she created a six-month group coaching program that sold out and earned her over $60,000 in sales.
At this point, Jereshia had replaced her engineering income in just three months. It was clear what path she needed to take, so she quit her job and went all in on her business.
Since becoming a full-time entrepreneur, her business has continued to grow and thrive. Her LEVERAGE™ program has become one of the most advanced group coaching programs available, helping entrepreneurs use their time more efficiently and scale their businesses.

Challenges
Early on in her business, Jereshia needed a way to share her digital products and coaching programs. While she was a skilled engineer and savvy businesswoman, she didn’t have experience with coding or web design. So, she wanted a solution that was user-friendly for beginners.
